Coolness: 185360	what's the rule of that? i thought the purpose was to be updated from what your friends are doing/saying over [ rave.ca ] though i have tons of feeds of people i don't really care about, i mean, that i don't know or not listed as my friend

Coolness: 2603990	Deadfunk: It's not all of [ rave.ca ] I dunno why you would think that... My feed and your feed are totally different. It's a whole lot of calculations to see if something gets posted... It's actually over 10gigs of information the feeds for all the users. Every user has it's own feed thing. It took about 10 hours to calculate for everyone the history of the feeds, new feeds are added every 5 minutes. 1) If you attend an event and then someone attends that event after you attend it, you will see a feed that they are attending that event. 2) If you post a comment on an image, if someone else posts a comment on that image then you will see it in your feed. 3) If your friend attends an event then you will be notified about it... There is a lot more... I don't feel like going through the code and explaining it all... [ www.rave.ca ] Here is the script which decides what to do... In theory I could add more stuff to it since I'm sure I'm missing tons of stuff.
