Coolness: 93560	i bet this has to do with his man-boy relationship with Price. Show gainey the door and you show price the door. Gainey has had a hard on for price since he drafted him, and showed blatent favoritism towards him over halak. Halak is only a year older than Price. As I posted last year, showing such disrespect to a player like Halak is going to cause problems in the dressing room. Have you seen all the reports that Price is an issue in the dressing room? That Markov called him out? Its unfair to both your 22 and 23 year old goalies to keep them both. Both should be starting goalies in the nhl. Edmonton, Tampa, St Louis, Detroit, Washington, Ottawa, and Chicago all have shittier goalies, so its not like your going to be trading away a goalie for nothing. Gainy's refusal to make his choice cost him his job. That said, those free agent signings are starting to pay off. Gomez-Gionta look amazing together.

I always backed and still back Bob, I think he did some great things in turning this franchise around and can only imagine that there's much to his departure that will not be clear for some time to come, if ever... Thanks for some great years Bob, here's hoping that you colleague and friend pierre doesn't fuck it all up... UFot-go-habs, go???
