 Coolness: 26160 | On Friday, January 29th, a one-of-a-kind event is returning to Metropolis! SynesthASIA is an annual fashion show for charity that is completely non-profit and showcases local Montreal designers and talent. The vision of the show is inspired by "synesthesia," a neurological phenomenon in which the five senses become mixed up, leading to sensations such as seeing sounds or tasting colours. Following this vision, SynesthASIA incorporates a variety of art mediums such as dance and live music. In its debut show in January 2009, over 1200 came out in attendance to support the cause and $9000 was donated to charity. This year, look forward to clothing by: Mighty Healthy, Dinh Ba Design, Preloved, and many more! The show will also feature internationally known drummer Paul Lizzi. All proceeds from the event will fund the care and education of orphaned, disabled, and special needs children in Sri Lanka. For tickets contact us at SynesthASIAmontreal@gmail.com.
