But erm, no disrespect but there ain't no afro-canadian hitman in the italian mob that I know about. Usually, a mob hit is always performed by a well known acquaintaince of the victim, usually a member of a warring family or sometimes of the same family (when an influential member goes rogue or astray). If the killer is in some way affiliated to street gangs though, it's gonna get a whoooooooooole lot uglier than expected. Now, anybody that knows anything about the italian mafia knows that any hit on a member is always carried out in specific ways as to avoid witnesses or extra attention. This usually happens in a somewhat private setting (when possible) - clearly not the case here - and ALWAYS involves a SILENCER, which was NOT used here. I don't want to play the devil's advocate here but this ain't no mob hit. |

A silencer only allows the explosion created by the gunpowder more room to expand, so it's coming out of a hole usually 20-30% larger than usual, and it's only really lowered by that much. Most guns shoot at super-sonic speeds and still create a miniature sonic-boom when traveling. |

.22 is the caliber of choice for an up close execution. Just powerful enough to break the skull on it's way in, looses velocity/force, so it can't break out again. So it basically bounces around in the target head making their brain-meats into slushie. PLus it's quite low noise, and usually really small hardware. And the word "Silencer" Is from movies. They're called Suppressors. They don't last for ever, the tube itsels arounf the pepe uis usually filled with a inert gas. It muffles the sound, but after a few shot, as the gas gets warmer, you loose the noise surrprssion. You gotta let it cool, but teven then, a suppressor life span from the first shot to the last one is about 25-30 shells. </end presentation> |
