i just couldnt leave my criticism like that. in french we say ''essais d'aller ailleurs'' it means try go further or elsewhere in your art. try something totaly different for a change. Try pointillisme? try something totaly obselete? then come back to your original ''créneau'' and see the influence of that ''aller ailleurs'' on your work. |

I just tried my hand at acrylic today for the first time and despite my feeling like I had no idea what I was doing technique-wise, it didn't turn out as botched as I was expecting. Fun times. |

heh, I've had a couple of people complain about the arm bones showing through.. was going to make it so the skeleton would show but then decided I would try doing that with the paint instead of pencil (later decided i would most likely botch everything if I tried that at this point).. and didn't realize the paint wasn't going to cover my pencil marks. |
