Here are some of the cheaper colour laser systems I have found... If anyone knows of some other ones let me know. I'm still deciding on which one or ones to get...

500mw Laser RGV (100mW @ 532nm green, 200mW @ 650 red, 200mW @ 405 purple) 530$/US
[ cgi.ebay.com ]

500mw Laser RGV (80-100mw @ 532nm, red 200mw @ 650nm, 200mW @ 405 ultra violet) 570$/US
[ cgi.ebay.com ]

310mw Laser RGV (120mW 405nm Blue Violet laser, 70mW 532nm Green laser, 120mW 650nm Red laser) 428$/US
[ cgi.ebay.com ]

If people know of other multi-color lasers let me know! I know it's not RGB ones but those are way too expensive to have a real blue...

I'd save up and just get a really nice one once. It'll probably become the "center piece" of your light kit. It would be a piss off to buy one at 600$ after shipping that had ugly patterns and bad dmx control, and really unstable software if it comes with a program to control the light via laptop.

like the RGB from microh is sick -----> [ www.microhpro.com ]

I don't say get that one cuz it's probably like 5Gs, but just watch the cheep chinese videos for the ebay ones then watch microh's video. It's night and day.

but after a little search I found one that i would buy if i had the disposable cash... this one: [ cgi.ebay.ca ]

It looks much stronger then the ones you linked above and allows you to program it via laptop I believe. It's 900$ but shipping is included in the price, so it's basically only 300$ more. It's up to 800mw I believe and the patterns and mixing of colors is a lot more advanced. Also it's German not Chinese so the quality is bound to be higher.

The ones above, at around 500mw your not gonna see too much without a heavy fog too, so keep that in mind. Also what are you gonna do if the unit breaks on you? I was looking at I think the bottom option and the thing isn't even screwed together, it's riveted. Good luck opening it up it if breaks on you.

The one you mentioned has the "reserve not met"... I don't play games, I just want to buy stuff...

As for the Microh, how much does that one cost? I'm guessing about 3,000$...

fuck more probably like 5Gs

Well just to give you an idea as to what I'd go for, you have to be careful when buying lights from china. My boss ordered like 50 LED tubes from china, within 1-2 months maybe 15 of them started glitching at certain dmx patterns, which looks pretty bad.

Not so much that the lights themselves will fail, but the circuits, bad wiring, or even the cheap scanner can fail, and then your 600$ in the drain. Or at least another 200$ after you have to pay the shipping to get the thing repaired if your lucky.

I'd go for something relatively stronger at the 1000$ range. At least with these you can change and control the patterns, write what you want.

First of all Noah, forget chiness no name stuff...you will lose money on long term. Second, 405nm for the blue section is violet, not blue. Look for the real blue, wich is 473nm. Check power rating for each color and make sure that blue (473nm) and red are at same power. Green should be at 40% of the red or blue. Avoid too something under 100mw ( I recomend you at least 300mw) for the blue or red....Trust me, dont spend on something that have less than listed here...Our smallest laser are green and they are 300mw...They cost 900$ USD each directly from manufacturer...And the are single color...But they work at usine-C without smoke...And I can light my cigaret on the beam!

compare power to the moving head in the back...They are 575W each...
I'm feeling summer rush! right now..
