what's the best place to buy ice skates in town? I want solid stuff that will last several years, but I'm not a good skater, so no need for hi-tech gear... I could wait until boxing day, and go for example at Canadian Tire. I've been told to get Bauer or CCM (or Reebok/Nike if they get affordable). Any other good brands? Or any bad brands to avoid? I've also been told that there's a bike store on Sherbrooke (corner Décarie, close to where I live) that sells used ice-skates for a good price... any opinion about that? If you're selling yours, feel free to make me a proposal. (my shoe size is generally 12 or 13) Thanks! |
