Le jeudi 26 novembre 2009 Spor & Chris Renegade (Lifted music) London, UK Bio Spor: Sounding from England and at just 22 years of age, Spor has quickly risen to the forefront edge of Drum & Bass production. After being introduced to Drum & Bass through a friend around four years ago, Jon began experimenting with software to create his own music. His friend Codex took interest and before long they were producing as 'Final Reckoning', skipping off school to work on tracks, with early influence coming from artists such as Hive, Ram Trilogy and Bad Company. This alias saw a lot of early progress and development take place, and soon differencing Universities meant that distance & time was an issue and Final Reckoning found it to hard to collaborate. Jon took on his solo moniker 'Spor', a tag name derived from a combination of one of the first folders of samples he obtained, entitled 'Spore Tactics', and a favourite piece of artwork by a friend (see [ www.monaux.com ] Graffiti outlining eventually meant he would drop the 'e' to leave a more balanced arrangement. Spor saw a debut release on the 'Damaged Minds' imprint, after friend and early mentor Murphy introduced him to Damage. This was a huge incentive to pursue harder, and soon Spor had attracted further attention. After being headhunted by Chris Renegade, he landing himself an exclusive deal with one of Drum & Bass' most prestigious labels Renegade Hardware, and leading-edge label Barcode. This opened up DJ opportunities, and after playing his first ever set at London's 'The End Club’, Spor has continued to play across the globe. 2005 saw Spor's remix of Konflict's 'Messiah' and his debut EP for Renegade Hardware. 2006 has seen Spor depart from the TOV Music Group to form part of the newly emerging and exciting Lifted Music collective, as well as tracks on Subtitles, a project for Evol Intent Recordings and Planet Mu. Bio Chris Renegade : In recent years Chris Renegade has played a major role in pushing the boundaries of Drum & Bass, signing and releasing some of the scene's most influential dancefloor tracks through the legendary Renegade Hardware & Barcode Labels. The debut album from the concept label Chris pioneered, Barcode Recordings - 'Us Against The World' serves as a key example of Chris' keen ear for ingenuity, quality engineering and diverse musical content. Having taken on new generation talent such as Ewun, Spor, Evol Intent, Unknown Error & Infiltrata, Chris cemented his reputation for making positive, decisive moves for the benefit of all labels and artists involved. Chris Renegade regularly tours around the world to aid promotion and push the music he loves and knows so well. He has rapidly proved himself as a popular and versatile DJ, bringing slickly presented high energy sets to avid crowds across the globe. Chris’ mixing skills also feature on what’s often regarded as the strongest of Renegade Hardware’s renowned “Future Beats” compilations. After four year’s managing the TOV Music Group with his precise and knowledgeable label & artist management skills, in early 2006, Chris Renegade chose to depart the company and start his own exciting imprint to serve host to artists such as Spor, Unknown Error, Ewun & Evol Intent. Since day one, the still young imprint, Lifted Music has caused huge waves within in the scene, pushing future sounding, forward thinking high energy dance music.

c'est vraiment un des très rares producteurs qui mixe bien !????? euhhh ils sont pas si rare crois moi! honnêtement, pour 90% des DJ/producers, soit j'aime pas les tounes, soit j'aime pas le mix... à part Spor et DJ Hidden, j'ai aucun super DJ+producer qui me vient à l'esprit, là... j'ai vu des tonnes de super DJ, mais soit ils font pas de tounes, soit yen a maximum 1 ou 2 que j'aime bien... et pour les producteurs, si j'aime les tounes alors le mix sera presque jamais à la hauteur, pour moi... mais là, va yavoir du SPOR :) |
