well... they're both well outside the styles that I like, but Acid Drops has some elements that I quite like. The psy-influence kind of takes me out of it, but the basic groove to the track is nice... the Moroder-ish melody at the beginning is a nice hook, and it hits me in the same place as some of the less-abrasive material on Kompakt.

At any rate, I'm not a fan of house or psy-trance, and I managed to make it all the way through... so that's saying something.
I'm feeling new records right now..

Thanks for the comment... In my opinion, its only when music trancends styles that it can aquire any lasting quality.

These are bomb. Very dig.

Acid Drops:
I don't like this one as much, but there's some interesting stuff happening in it. The low end is kind of confusing...like the kick and the bass have too many layers or something. It might be that I can hear clicky transients on the bass notes and that gets mixed up with the other percussion. Try to clean those attacks up if you want the bass smooth, or make them a bit more prominent if you want that presence on all the attacks of each note. I'd go smooth myself.

Signal Decay:
The melody/chords are sick. It has the space/vibe of a progressive psy track but the groove of a tech house piece. Interesting percussive elements, pretty solid mix as far as I can hear. I might just try this out this weekend @ Academy or Koi.

The drums are a little wierd on both...sort of sounds like some elements are not exactly synced. Are they intentionally a little off?
I'm feeling focused right now..

Wow, thanks for the revew... I;m in Mexico right now so i cant realy listen to the songs in light of your comments, but i will. The klickyness of some of the transients might come from some extreme equing, mixed with the fact that i have a 6/4 beat over a 4/4, on Signal decay. Acid drops was meant as a more abrasive and disasociative fealing song, kinda like the fealing of K.

Let me now if you use the son in your set, and how it goes. If you record your set, i wouldnt mind having a copy.

thanks again

:)
