Awesome night, thanks to everyone who came out, and everyone who made it happen. Biggups to my bros Bassic and Screwhead for being awesome as usual, and for making a sick flyer, to Corey for helping us get this whole show on the road and getting Ed Rush on the ticket, to Pinky for taking care of the breaks room, and to all the DJs who came out and played wicked sets. Oh, and of course, ED RUSH... omg like what insanity, I thought my head was going to explode. And thanks to Academy for being good and friendly hosts.
I don't think I can remember a night when I remember hearing beats as good as I did at this party and more than one person I spoke to on Friday confirmed just that. The sound was loud, but crisp and clean and well distributed. Great vibes surging through the crowd, it seeemed like everyone was dancing. Lots of old faces, and lots of new faces, hopefully the likes of which we'll be seeing more. Seriously, this was a night to remember. The urban sounds of dnb and breaks are on their way back peoples, stay tuned, we're just getting started! |
