Coolness: 201215	1) Boot off linux based live cd (like ubuntu) 2) plug in external drive.. 3) copy over important files. 4) boot off windows install cd 5) reformat and install OR if you never want virus problems again replace 4 and 5 with this 4) start linux installer from live cd 5) win

Coolness: 60075	jme demandais justement si qlqun qui sait pas formater un pc ni regler ses probleme de registre et qui conait a peine le formatage etais capable de se debrouillier avec linux.... tk bonne chance moi je conseille windows pour les nul avec un cd original de win xp ... si tu veut pas etre toute fourré sinon trouve qlqun qui va vnir le faire pour toi ......

Criss, je ré-installe des OS assez régulièrement pour mes amis ou ma famille pis si je checke les raisons que je dois ré-installer tout ça, je préfère qu'ils restent avec de quoi de pas trop compliqué. Même moi je ne touche pas à Linux. I'm just lazy that way. :)

As I don't know Ubuntu, I can't answer you but its it's predecessor so it would literally be a step over it although I've heard by some people that debian is indeed better.
