Need An External Sound Card

| ok... so i have this dj setup and all and I wanna record sets... I have this laptop that I thought I'd use for that... now everything is rigged up and working fine in audacity and whatnot but the recording is mono. I obviously don't want the sound to be mono but from what i understand this thing only has a mic in and will not record in stereo.
SOOOOO... I was thinking, maybe I'd look for an external USB or pcimcia sound card... that would work on this 6 year old laptop (p4 on XP)... I just dont know where to look! I dont need anything special, no bells and whistles, just one stereo output and one stereo input
does that even exist? |

| There are some super-cheap ones around for sure, just not sure what/where..
I just got an awesome Tascam US-122L that was $120+tax at Steves.. You'd have something great for recording, and you'd also have a good card for doing production if you'd want to get into that! |

| un dat recorder , apres tu pese play tu route sa dans un autre ordi qui transcode en temps reel pis apres tu re-route pour ton stream! cest super complexe |
