i personally like the feel of the older one's better. the mk2's buttons seem to "stick" very easiliy.. :)

yeah, the old ones have a better wheel on them, also.. They move more freely.. the new ones feel like there was juice spilled on them and the wheel is gummed up..

you still have the option to "in and out" but yeah, it never works proper.

Sure it does, only if your alone and not recording, then the thing works perfect..
Just use the in as a bump scratch in mark and loop it manual..

well, i can usually catch the loop cleanly manually, but it is risky live, really easy to fuck it all up hehe...

everytime i had the chance to use the 800's tho, the one button looping never failed me, and you can switch to 1, 2, 4 bars, half, quarter bar etc, with the click of a button, so its not as repetetive, i love it!
