Aaron So… I just got back from Coda or, more correctly, out side of Coda. We arrived at 11 (very early for an event in Montreal) and encountered two lines: one line for people with tickets, one line for people without tickets. We (incorrectly) assumed that as people who had bought tickets before the event, that it might be prudent to stand in the line designated for ticket holders. Our logic being that the promoters would expedite the entry of those people who had lined their pockets via putting our money (and faith) in their hands weeks before the show. What we didn’t expect is that the promoters must think us idiots and patsies for being so accommodating. We waited in the ticket holder line for over an hour (you know what the weather is like) while the bouncers let in group after group of people without tickets. Our line remained static while the promoters decided to cash in and cramming their club over capacity while the fools who paid in advance froze. I will never go to Coda again and will find who promoted this show and will never attend their shows again. Additionally, I will tell everyone who cares to listen to do the same. People deserve more respect than this. It has nothing to do with PLURistic bullshit and everything to do with very simple basic respect. You pay for something, you should receive that something. Promoters that default on their obligations need to be run out of business. If this is you, then a big fuck you, straight from my now frigid heart (as I warm up in my apartment). If you got burned by these clowns, I encourage you to do what I am doing and make sure these people make no more money by fucking us over. That’s about it. If you know who promoted this show, PM me.  Coolness: 30710 | There was another event set up for Crystal Castles on Facebook. That one was deleted on Sunday morning as in news-feed: "Crystal Castles has been cancelled". Which I found strange seeing that this was done after the party has happened. |

| Coolness: 31800 | meloodie: I certainly don't think it's Beat Me Ups fault, of course... the people involved with Beat Me Up seem to do such a nice job with everything else and they seem to have their shit together. I would encourage them to distance themselves from Coda though as it's bad to be associated with people who consistently screw us. |

| Coolness: 31800 | I've been told by a good source that the people who might be to blame are Mikey Apple from Toronto or Mike D at Coda. Remember these names and look out for them. Make sure you don't buy tickets to shows that involve these two and let's make sure this sort of shit can't happen again. If I'm mistaken about who is to blame here, PM me and let me know. |

| Coolness: 31800 | Wha!?! I only got a ticket in the first place to this event because I wanted to see Mary Hell without having to wake up on a Friday! I wasn't that interested in the headliners that much really... These promoters must be put out of business. |
