Coolness: 226385	Anyone here has insight about commercial printer? I'm looking to get a tatoo design printed to make the stencil and start the art. But I need to print out my design, and I don't wanna do it puzzle style. So I need something printed about the size of my back... halp!

Coolness: 201335	bureau en gros does a decent job.. I get photos printed there sometimes, they look good if the person is not retarded and knows what a photo printer is.

Coolness: 88750	they are retarded 99% of the time. Make sure your document is a pdf or jpeg or any "standard" format, cuz these guys will fuck up otherwise. FYI .PSD is not a standard to them, they dont understand shit, neither is anything from CS other than pdf.

Coolness: 201335	I work with print media and psd isn't standard anywhere unless the people are running macs, even then it doesn't always render layers properly unless you use Photoshop proper. PDF is proven, reliable, and very standard.

Coolness: 83985	Bureau en gros does cmyk poster size prints in small quantities. cost about $30 depending on the size. in regards to scottys comment... as standard as pdf is... i question it's reliability... i work with it alot as well and i've had alot of problems in the past with complex vector files getting garbled and information getting lost during export. sometimes you just gotta use it though... i recommend you thoroughly look over any vector art you export to this format before sending. and you can never go wrong with asking your printer what he prefers.
