ok i just downloaded a movie. file reads type is [ .WS ] , as it appears in the folder once it was done downloading

i am using windows media player. but the audio is totally out-of-sync with the video by a good 5 seconds or more and seems to get worse. either way it's unwatchable as is

i know nothing about this kind of thing. anyone know what I can do to put it in sync? i looked up troubleshooting but cant find the options in the toolbar that some sites mention

thx in advance

yup VLC... ...windows media player is the shittiest A/V program ever

if it's still out of sync though, then it may be the vid itself
