| salut. je suis a la recherche d'une salle, pas trop cher, pas de bingo, pour projet de fin d'étude en design de l'UQAM. c'est pour avril 2009, mais je préfère commencer a en trouver une. pour environ 300-400 personnes avec des bases en systeme de son et de systemes de projecteurs avec une salle adjacente pour préparation de l'évènement. notre budget est assez limité, mais on essaie de trouver quelque chose plus centre-ville que la maison de la culture dans Hochelaga. |

| I know of a place where a friend of mine is going to start promoting a night there. The venue mind you, can hold about 200, maybe more. It already has a sound system, and lights, and a whole bunch of other crap. I dunno if will be exactly what you're looking for, but it's all I can offer... |

| jusqu'a environ minuit-1h00 une grande salle, puis, une adjacente assez grande pour environ 50 personnes. la SAT, c'est trop cher. je veux quelquechose comme la salle dell'arte ou la casa popolo, mais plus grand |

| Yeah, Academy is a good idea. The main room can hold about 250, and the room on the side about 80, or you can open the doors in between and make it into one big room. you can PM me if you need contact info for the manager. |

| Hi Folks. Just a quick note about the opening of a new venue in town.
Il Motore is located at 179 Jean-Talon West, 1 block from St-Urbain (between Parc
and De Castelneau metro stations). The venue is a collaborative effort between
Blue Skies Turn Black [ www.blueskiesturnblack.com ] and Sala Rossa/Casa del
Popolo [ www.casadelpopolo.com ] Capacity will hover around 250 and the venue
will also house a bar, stage, and full sound system. The room rental fee will
be $150 for Sunday to Wednesday inclusive, and $200 for Thursday through
Saturday. The price includes sound technician, basic lighting, and bar staff.
We are booking now for September 2008 and beyond. For booking information,
