So i just took out this bad boy for a test drive!!!
and i have to say...
i'm very impressed.
it's fully electric, has good kick (65kph) and doesn't make a fuckin' sound (it's like a ninja bike).
it's pretty fuckin' sweet actually...
there are no emissions at all, it goes for up to 60 miles on a single charge and costs less than $2.00 a week in electricity if you use it everyday.
i probably wouldn't want one if i lived in the country, but for the city it's a near perfect vehicle.
they are gunna be available in montreal real soon, so you can expect to start seeing a lot of these by next summer.
i'm definitely gunna start rockin' one real soon.
what do you guys think?
would you ride electric? |

| I had an electric scooter before getting my real one and it sucked the electric one... It would only go 22kmph. It also could not climb hills at all. I could barly get from laval to montreal. I had to use the petals to give the battery energy... Maybe the new ones are better. I prefer my real gas scooter which cost me 6$/week on gas. Can go up hills no problems. In a city of hills (montreal), it's worth it... |

| I goto work and sometimes drive around town, to restos and stuff... I goto lasalle sometimes also and what not... If you drive 40km/hour then you should be able to get like 120km/tank with the 2 stoke or 200km/tank with the 4 stroke... There is a 5L tank on scooters. Do the math... |

| The electric scooters are also probably not going to be quiet for very long.. Hybrid cars that have electric motors are being outfited with something that generates sound when the electric engien is on, because it's a massive danger to people.. we're used to hearing cars coming, especially the blind.. |

pedals?
i'm interested in knowing more about the electric scoot you had before...
make and model?
how much you paid?
from the sounds of it what you had is more in the class of electric bicyles?
the E.V.T.'S are high performance electric scoots that have competitive performance to most gas scooters.
and unless the batteries are complete toast they shouldn't have any problems with hills.
cheers. |

| 3500$, someone is making a lot of money... The most expensive part is the battery, and there is no battery that expensive... |

| it's not a lot for a new scooter.
it's half the price of a vespa and matches the prices of most big manufacturers dead on.
it's also one of the best in it's class as far as fully electric scoots go.
anyway... it's looking like i might be doing some work for the distributor, so bug me in a few months and i'll let you take a test drive.
