..... I was never into comics, but luckily i had a friend who was. And he loan me the graphic novel "The Watchman" back in the 90's. Now sure, Hollywood is full of recycled ideas, and it seems every movie is from a comic book, but Watchman might be different. If only by the strength of its story. Wiki
In 2005, Time placed Watchmen on its list of the 100 Greatest English Language Novels from 1923 to the Present, stating that it was "told with ruthless psychological realism, in fugal, overlapping plot lines and gorgeous, cinematic panels rich with repeating motifs...a heart-pounding, heartbreaking read and a watershed in the evolution of a young medium."
