Homeless Amputee Beaten To Death With Own Crutch

Coolness: 77380	SAN DIEGO – A homeless amputee was beaten to death with his own crutch Monday night on a downtown sidewalk. Several witnesses reported that the 41-year-old victim had gotten into an argument with another man on F Street near Eighth Avenue in the Core-Columbia neighborhood just before midnight, homicide Lt. Kevin Rooney said. During the fight the man picked up the victim's crutch and hit him with it, said Rooney. Paramedics tried to revive him but he died about a hour later at a trauma center. The attacker was described as Latino and in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 170 pounds with a mustache and a sparse beard, Rooney said. He was last seen near Seventh Avenue and G Street. Police said they don't know why the men were arguing, if they knew each other or the motive for the attack. The dead man's name has not yet been released. Rooney said he had an amputated leg and used a wheelchair but also was able to stand. He was standing when he was hit with the crutch, he said. The man was known to stay in an alcove in front of the building where the fight took place. Coolness: 67070	That's just plain sick 0_o I just don't understand how a guy has the time to hit and kill someone with a blunt weapon, with people bystanding... It sickens me how people are into their own little comfy bubbles. If a person doesn't look normal, they won't go and help, because it might be "normal" for a homeless dude to get into a battle, right? Fuck I hate people sometimes. It's like that dude that did an experiment. He dressed up as a homeless guy, went in plain sight downtown NY and started caughing badly, then stoped, said help and droped slowly against a wall... It took fuckin' 15minutes for someone to ask him if he was alright, and before that all you could see is people walking slowly looking at the guy, probably wondering if he was dead, but without even asking or poking(!) they went away... people suck.

Coolness: 77380	Yup i second that. Its like that book Black like Me. This white dude changed his skin colour for a few months to become black during the 50s and the whole segregation issue...its a must read. Its insane the things that happened to him just cause he was black back then. Or like those shows where skinny poeple dress up as fat ppl for one day for to see how ppl will treat them...ppl dont open doors for them anymore, you ask the time, ppl turn away...its very sad to see what our society has become.

Coolness: 185445	je suis d'accord avec toi Dr_Jwa en plus dans l'article il ose dire qu'il y avait une couple de témoins. Je peux pas croire qu'une "couple" de monde peuve pas arrêter un gars de tapper sur un handicapper sur le bord de la rue. Si cet handicapper avais pas été homeless pensez-vous qu'on l'aurait aider? Je pense pas. Aujourd'hui quelqu'un tombe à terre dans le métro et tout le monde le regarde croche pour "ralentir le traffic" au lieu d'y tendre la main pour l'aider à ce relever... Criss moi jt'une fille de 5 pied 5 qui pèse 120lbs pis je serais prête a sauter sur n'importe quelle personne, de n'importe quelle grosseur, pour aider quelqu'un dans le besoin...
