| it most certaintly does kill the board heh, which is why its pretty much a standard amongst most popular message board software.
The something awful forums process close to 10000 posts per day, and images are allowed as signatures. The reason it works is because the image is linked from another site and is not stored in [ somethingawful.com ] servers. So it would not slow down ravewave in any way because all the content generated by ravewave is rendered and displayed already. Its not like someone has to wait to read posts because there are 50 signature images to load up. |

| thing is, you wont notice it taking a long time because all that has to be loaded are signatures, off external servers. Again, the content is already displayed. You wont have to wait to read it while signatures are loaded. |
