J'ai jamais compris comment on finit toujours par retrouver un fader dans une marrée de ravers.

try a tiny bit of blu-tac. The faders are still removable, but a million times less likely to just fly off during use.
I'm feeling fuckin' crazy right now..

even on the djm-800 the knob are loose, less than a 5-600 but still, and the got crappy preamp pioneer is shit ass! Anybody want a djm-800 is still like brand new an come with a roadcase, and digital wires!

We already glue knob with a dip of epoxy, but they break it in the plastic of the knob...We just try this week end to fill it with hot glue around the empty space inside of the knob...This seem have look to have work, all knob are back to base!

And if you need to service the inside of the mixer, well, good luck taking the knobs off!

I'm telling you, a touch of blu-tac fixes everything, AND they can still come off if you need to take them off.
I'm feeling fuckin' crazy right now..

That's pionner! Never suppose to break! Already try the blue locktight...Not DJ proof! Hot glue filling with a dip of epoxy seem to work, I will check for long term...And a dip of epoxy is easy to break if you whant to remove knob...Renting and personnal stuff is really a different story! But I agree with you that too much of epoxy could not be a good idea, but we try it on a dead fader before!

Hate to break it to you, but if you can't mix a certain style of music with any mixer that gets thrown at you, it's not the mixer's fault.

still though... 4 eqs kinda necessitates a different approach, its great once you get used to it but if its your first time on one of those.... you might spend you set thinking that another hand could come in handy...

Not all of them have the 4 EQs.. But yeah, the 4 EQs are a little surprising at first, but really ends up working out a whole lot better when you can really take out your low-end and roll the low-mids when bringing in a tune so that you don't have your low frequencies come out all muddy, something you can't do an a regular 3-band EQ.
I'm feeling fuckin' crazy right now..
