We were ALL wondering if Kemal was a good DJ. We knew for a fact that he produced bombs on his Ram Records sub-label Cryptic Audio, but we really couldn't pinpoint wether he's tight on the decks. Well. He is tidier than a maid on speed. And he was so relaxed and confident. HE WAS CHILLIN'! SO now we ALL know that Kemal is definately a DJ worth paying 15-20$ to go see play. As for everyone else? D-joos and Galaksy held it down proper at the beginning of the evening... Corey K was up to his usually mad antics... Sase One!!! all I gotta say bout that. Mindset played a remarkable set due his veteranship in the local Drum 'n' Bass scene. A lot of FUCKED UP SHIT went on but I'm not bout to get into it (I feel sick thinking about it). Positivity reigned though, GOOD VIBES SHALL HEAL. The chill room consisted of D-Joos, Axionfigga, Blackmarket, Tipsy, Clown, John-c-Vagabond, and myself. Happy Hardcore and Tekhouse invaded the last two hours of the party (7:00 am). It's been a long journey for Drum 'n' Bass and I'm touched to see the people that risk their necks (literally) to make sure that EVERYONE has a good time. MAD PHUCKIN' PROPS 2: SEMEN(U.R Supported) Galaksy, Djoos, Axionfigga,Jada,Blake, Tierry, Corey, Matt, Kemal(4 signing my recs), Ben, Mike,Stabba, mc Y,Ze've, Spooky and those I forgot shall hit me (not hard though). Ravewavers make this shit happen. Mad loves go out to the crew. one. |

 Coolness: 91835 | Kemal had some AMAZING tracks that were definetly the main highlight of the night. The way he started his set, with that melodic dnb, was pure sickness. This was the first time I heard ben spinning, his mixing is tight. Sase1 and Stabba also played great sets, though unfortunately I came late and missed the Galaksy and djoos tag. Other highlights of the night:
- seeing lots of familiar smiling ravewave faces - the guy beatboxing, doing a eminem imitation - alex in ducttape. must be watching 2 much CNN - all the familiar faces converging in the chill room for early morning hhc overall it was a blast! |

 Coolness: 221910 | one word.. SICK.. holy fuck.. The music was great everywhere i went. The venue is pure gold.
MAD props to Simon for dealing with all the last minute stress.. and by last minute i really mean it.. Good work to Myself and Djoos for hooking up the sound in the main room with almost no experiance. We did a good job bro :) Every else that helped out deserves a WORD UP also.. SO PEACE niggah's.. you know who you are.. I really enjoyed meeting alot of new people from the board at this party. (Hostone, Blackmarket or something like that, Tipsy, Gen, Purple Lee, Spooky, Mindset and everyone else that had good vibes..) Now for the music: Djoos and Galaxy were great, althought during there set, i was too busy running back and forth from the chillroom trying to get it set up in time. (also talking with tipsy and the others) CoreyK was really good also. I enjoyed his tracks. SaseOne was fucken wicked, tight as a bitch. Kemel stole the show with his crazy beats in the begining of his set. He's even tighter than saseone. The only track that i didn;t really like was his last track. it was too experimental (i think). For stabba, well, i was getting into that tooTiredToPayAttention state of mind. So i took a break in the chillroom. For Mindset, his set was great to end the party, playing chiller beats and even some old hiphop classics.. i enjoyed.. After that, it was chill room time, to listen to Vandal guy, who for a dj thats gonna mix at sona was quite offbeat. ahh well.. Tipsy was great and had lots of energy with his hardcore/happyness tracks.. :p Then came me for a track and a half. damn, i wish i had had more time to express myself.. so yeah, to all you peeps that stayed home, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Suckers.. you missed a great one. 9.5/10 for this GREAT party. |

props Poisoned candy; i'm feeling your uprock again, pillards are cool and so are concrete floors the hippie dancing alone at beginning was the illest i need to mention Host One played a nice aggressive set nobody was around to appreciate it which is fine with me cause it gives me more space to throw flying punches goodtimes behind the stage and in the ladies room if there would have been some lighting this party would be like WHAT? loser wigger drug dealers by the door reminds of finer parties of early 2002 |
