 Coolness: 35490 | It was a dark and stormy night - well, it was dark, at any rate - ok, I can't really remember... anyway, all of us at NC HQ were facing a dilemma I'm sure you're familiar with. "What should we listen too?" I asked. "You spelled that wrong," George replied. "You should have used 'to' in that sentence." "How did you hear me spell that wrong?" I responded. Clearly, we were in no condition to decide anything. And so, as is tradition here at NC, we did the only logical thing: we got drunk and hoped that eventually somebody else would get around to doing it for us.
And that, ravers, is where YOU come in! Nocturnal Commissions has teamed up once again with the legendary promotions team from Embedded Entertainment to put YOU in control of what we listen to. The only rave on the planet to make YOU the headliner is back once again - potentially even with a renegade master, although I'm not entirely clear on what that means.... If you were there last year, you already know how it went. If you weren't there last year, this is your chance to experience Toronto's rave community at its most creative... On November 3rd, 2007, Embedded Entertainment and Nocturnal Commissions proudly present: Total Request Rave 2 Since this is the only rave of its kind on the planet, we've invited DJs from across the globe to be a part of this unique celebration of Toronto's own ravers! Besides YOUR Total Request set, we'll be hearing top-notch Hardcore, NRG, DnB, Breaks, and more from some of the world's best DJs, including: Impact [UK] - HHC (Infexious Audio) Since making his DJ Debut back in 1996, Impact has gone on to DJ at every Major event in the UK, Including world reknowned events such as: HTID, Hardcore Heaven, Future Dance, Dreamscape & Vibealite amongst others. With his high energy DJ style, World tours have taken Impact to countries such as: Japan, USA, Thailand, Germany & Australia on numerous different occasions. He is also world reknowned for his music production as the owner of Infexious Audio. His production career has spanned over 100 releases on various different labels including many tracks & Remixes also featured on successful compilation albums worldwide including; Bonkers, Clubland, Ministry of Sound & Hardcore Nation. Impact has cemented himself as one of the most prolific artists within the Hardcore scene. DJ Opel - UK Hard House (Embedded, Deprivation Records) Easily one of Toronto's absolute top DJs, Opel has been representing Embedded, NC and T.O. all across the planet with his trademark high energy dance music and incredible Jagertasticness!! Opel plans to be cutting back heavily on his DJing in upcoming years to focus on making tunes for Deprivation Records (among others) so take this opportunity to catch him while you can! Total Request Set Dynamic [USA] b2b George (Who Plays Requests) (Nocturnal Commissions, Embedded) Last year, these two designed the world's first completely interactive DJ set with Total Request Rave... and anyone who was there can tell you that there's never been anything like it! Fuzzboy - Happy Gabber (Email, Big Kahuna) On a scale of 1 to 10, Fuzzboy is freaking ridiculous! High speed, high energy, sometimes just plain high, Fuzzboy has been rocking the decks with the happy gabber for a long time, and he fits right in on the NC/Embedded stage! Bliz b2b Mr. Tippy - Hardstyle (TDSK / Hardbazz Factory) Hamilton's #1 Hardstylist joins forces with London's own top-notch Hardstyle stomper in what promises to be an epic battle of bassline and badass! Robotpilot - Breakcore (Robotpilot Clothing) Toronto's favourite breakcore gal and commander-in-chief of smiles and hugs, Robotpilot returns once more to the Embedded/NC stage to bring us her trademark breakcore beats and incredible positive energy! Punk Master Techs [USA] - HHC (DC Productions) Fresh from Minnesota, this hardcore trooper and his friends have routinely been making thousand-mile drives to be a part of our rave scene - now THAT is dedication! Anyone with that much spirit to contribute belongs up front Lyrical contributions from three North American hardcore legends: MC Jumper (Hullabaloo) [USA] MC Everybodies Daddy (Future Perfect Synergy) MC Rukkus (Nocturnal Commissions) [USA] And most importantly: YOU!
