 Coolness: 37070 | It's a bit uninspired/GMS to my ears. Sounds like something GMS or 3dVision would have put out 8 years ago. If that was the sound you were after then bravo. If not then you might need to go back to the drawing board. Good thing you play after IM cause this wouldn't lift the crowd on its own.
My gripes: -Waaaaay too many vocal samples everywhere. One vox every three tracks is ok, 70 samples in the same track is overkill and destroys any punch it might have had. -Too thin. Where's the PHAT bro? -tra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-tra-ta-ta-ta-ta synths, bah. No real harmonic content, just throwing notes real fast for no apparent reasons. -No personality. You just imitate what you've heard before. Find your own sound, break some rules, be original. take it or leave it, 'tis just me opinion. |

| Coolness: 127760 | ok let me rephrase it for you then... the mix is fine, the levels are fine, everythings fine.. theres nothing I can say technically.....what is lacking (IMO) subjectivly.. is taste.
deadfunk.. gated synths "always"...no...defiantely not. theres alot of it though. bassline: 1 bar devided into 4 ... [kick, bass, bass, bass] over and over and over again. psytrance is rarely PHAT compared to most other styles of electronic music.. the standard is rolling the entire lowend off somewhere around the 50hz mark..hence the lack of any sub frequencies. I think its time for a revolution sti! |

If you call yourself a producer you're either joking, jealous or horribly uninformed. There's a BIG difference between copying a song, and creating music within a style. It's psytrance, I am not going to start using a saxophone and inserting off beats... Besides, even if I was copying beats, being able to properly reconstruct every element of a song from scratch is fucking hard... you find me the song I copied and then we'll talk. |

 Coolness: 201220 | james there are lots of sounds in your tracks that are similar to sounds I have heard in other electronic songs, I wouldn't really call it copying. I do like your music though..
AlienZed: The song sounds good, and will probably go over well in a live setting.. I prefer your darker stuff though, in general. But again, people will probably dig this at a party the way it is now. |
