 Coolness: 131675 | I always have a good time at iDJ jams, mad respect for throwing parties for only 5$, it's very cheap, and you get a full night of fun. At the breakin' events, the iDJ boys always invite some new faces like Omni and the Planet Break guys at this one, and of course the family with the dancefloor killers Galaksy and Bass-ic, the liquidfunk specialist Axionfigga and Nitrous on the darker side of the drum n bass!
I also love the fact that i don't ever know more than a couple of people at iDJ parties, not the usual rave crowd we see every week-end... Also the fact that there's booze... gives a whole different ambience to the party... |

 Coolness: 44015 | I had a wickid awesome time at the party, I somehow ended up bringing 6 newbies to the party, I'm such a productive rave mom, but they all ended up having a good time, so props to the iDJ crew. I particularly dug the set later in the night...around 4-6, the one with all the stratching, that was sick. Sorry for my ignorance in not knowing the names, but I was a tard, well a k-tard to be exact and didn't really think of looking at the time slots posted all over the fucking walls.....at the time. haha. It would be sweet if someone would inform though. I was still dancing more than most, so noone better give me that shit about K killing the scene, deakfunk's a fucking tard. All in all, a sweet little party, thanks kids. =) |

Dsl Stef, dans le feu du party j'ai pas pensé te remercier en personne mais d'arriver et que le projo soit monté, la table haute et tout le reste.... Two thumbs up !!
La musique m'a tenu collé derrière le booth toute la soirée, trop intense du début à la fin !! ...j'voulais pas manquer une occasion de blaster les visuels sur un set de IDJ ou Twisted Bass ou Frogland Breakers ou Akarien etc... Bref, j'ai vraiment trippé!! ...malgré mon air sérieux :s |

just enough peeps to make it a nice evening good vibes, dancefloor took a while to move but became boombastic all night long afterwards, and 'til the end sound was ok all night long, Fractal's system's clean when respected , so it worked smiles all around, variety in the crowd, a bit more women than men , alot of olschool peeps, drinkin' and rave-stylez consumptions of all sorts 
the room upstairs was empty all the way, but nice, the dj's there were rockin' solid, especially that dude rockin' electro and shit, anyone has a clue who that was ? Stef ?? music in the main room was excellent all way through i digged playing hiphop early , then BASSIC and i played a wicked breaks tag, we had a whole bunch of fun and the scratching on top was like a cherry on a sundae the PLANET BREAKS guys rinsed out the way they do, like pros ! tons of choons, great mixes, all slick, smiling and vibin' with the crowd, scratchings, and Pinky was wearing that wrestling mask all the way through, precious ! lol some of the most positive characters i ever seen in Montreal in the breaks movement no joke OMNI's a wicked dj and he dropped mad electro, humble and positive on top, i really like workin' with that guy I'll be back with some more .. |

when drum&bass came on, AXIONFIGGA brought it all smooth and slick and then got to some harder stuff, the dancefloor was pumpin' like mad, t'was pretty fuckin dope, except that dude lost motivation at some point in his set when i told him there was no booze left at all anywhere ...damn alcoolics ! lol NITROUS played a tight and heavy yet funky set, nothing to say, just dope ! then BAssic and i played a d&b tag, i was honored, it was mad cool RAVEDAVE did his thang, alot of followers still on the dancefloor 'til the end hardstyle aint my cup of tea but i listened carefully to Dave's technique and i was impressed again, keep up the good work man, you're pretty good ! |
