| Well, I got there at around 12:20 - ish for Bind's set and at the door I was told that Dj CRAZE was grounded in New York and couldn't get a plane down here on time cause of the Ice I pressume?! :(This made my stomach churn considering I'd been waiting to see him since last time he played here at Living 3 years ago (I knew I should have gone with Guillaume when I had the chance :p) so I was pretty bummed...I was also tired from the 3 hour Show I had just played on the Radio which I had mainly dedicated to Dj CRAZE and CARTEL (last nights show [ www.sendspace.com ] and couldnt really stick around to party...but I heard the rest of the night went well, the heads stuck around for the amazing Dj talents of Bind, Hussler and Corey K! Saw alot of headz outside and halfway in the venue so im sure it went smoothly! I'm really sorry that things didnt work out for you this time Corey, usually things run perfectly for you, dont see it as a setback...and if there was some way you could guarantee that you can bring him back, I'll let you keep the money for the tickets ;)

| As most of you may or may not know, DJ Craze & MC Armanni were unable to perform at the show as planned on friday. The severe freezing rain combined with high wind-speeds caused all air traffic to be grounded across the east coast for most of that day. DJ Bind and Myself waited throughout the day as flight after flight got either delayed or cancelled. At about 3pm all Philidelphia flights were cancelled, which meant no MC Armanni. At around the time of the party's beginning, it became clear that Craze would not be able to make his connecting flight to Montreal, and be forced to find a hotel in New York for the night.
After alot of discussion, we decided best to keep the party going and make the best out of a bad situation. We dropped the door price from 15$ to 5$ (plus 1$ coatcheck which the club insisted upon). We also offered all pre-sale ticket holders a free drink of their choice, which we payed for out of our own pockets, tip included. Also, anyone seeking a full refund may hold on to their ticket and do so at their point-of-purchase.
I'd like to thank everyone that came out to the party despite the weather, and stuck around despite the headliner not making it out, it really was out of our control. Myself, DJ Bind, DJ Craze, MC Armanni and Contagious Musiq assure you that this event will be rescheduled at some point in the new year. We all worked really hard on this party and still want to see it happen, now more than ever!
On a side note I'd personally like to thank everyone who stuck it out and for their understanding. I was pretty upset for the first part of the night (for obvious reasons), but by the time i got on the decks...I must say I was speechless at the site of a full dancefloor, and straight through till after 3am!
I'd also like to thank Uzi, Andrea, Kate and all the staff at Academy for helping us explain the situation to party-goers and of course all you troopers who decided this was still a party worth checking out.

honestly i was totally shocked when murdah told me craze wasnt even in montreal, i thought he was kidding.
but even still, i think you guys pulled off quite an event!
the night was awsome if you ask me. even without the main attraction i think that what was done last friday was living proof that Drum and bass is still up and kicking in this city.
