For the first edition, we proudly present hard techno dj FLIM, who has been making major waves in Toronto since his arrival from Thailand a few years ago. | Coolness: 90335 | Cool man, then we'll have you in on the next one as planned ... DrNyarlathotep, this is the start of a regular 'club' event (and by that I mean at venues that serve alcohol). The focus is less on massive international djs and more on testing out new decor and extras for the next huge HAF event which is coming sometime late 2007. That's why we're starting small again and building our way up! |

| Coolness: 40550 | I have no qualm with it being a small place; zygote was awesome because of it. However, it's the name that gives me a problem. Hard as Fuck is a known brand and it brings a lot of people. I emphasize on "lot". Ravers from previous HAF who might not be part of this forum or might not pay too much attention to details might simply swarm in, not knowing that the place is definitely smaller than other HAFs.
I'm just worried we'll be a pack of sweating sardines. This said, I'm still not going to miss it; just voicing (or, texting?) some concern. |

| Coolness: 90335 | Yep I hear you there ... the promotion for this event will definately not be as intense as it has been in the past, and we've gotten an amazing dj that isn't known too well in montreal (yet! He's fucking awesome). We're imagining between the two there won't be a crazy push of people, and based on reaction we'll adjust the promotional plan to make sure it's not retardo packed! |

..and Dr.Ny, there are less and less people at every HAF, so I doubt space'll be a problem (especially since they choose their dates to trip up MTL promoters)... btw, grindcore is not a type of HC techno... I remember HAF6 being quite full, actually. Though it IS true that there weren't many people at HAF5 but then... it happens when you have many raves in one weekend. |
