 Coolness: 2604025 | Not much more could be said then WOW for the 2006 version of WEMF. Thousands of people were gathered to widness 6 stages of music, plus many people brought their own sound systems so in theory there were about 25 stages. Unlike most events people were at WEMF from all over Canada and the USA. I even met some people from Florida who came down just for the event. They have nothing like it there. Other from New York, Ottawa, Montreal, Boston and more.
The three main stages (4 by 4, Jungle/DNB, Bands Stage) were setup fantasticly. All the DJs and MCs did a great job. The hardcore stage wasn't that full most of the time except for when Scott Brown came on. It's really hard to explain what it's like but I took I few pictures which kind of sucked but check them out (and others also).

Girls Dancing Whatever the case, WEMF was definately a great party for all. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. There was also a place where you could swim, food for sale and everything you would expect from a commercial event. All the DJs showed up (although a little late, due to flight delays). Whatever the case, if next year they will have another WEMF event I would suggest for people from Montreal and everywhere to go. It's really was an experiance unlike anything I've ever been to becides the last WEMF I went to 4 years ago. |
