I won't do a full review, but seriously, all the tracks are fucking amazing and the mix keeps getting better and better, right down to the last cymbal.

I checked it out...

first i gotta admit that your site made me giggle... sooo cheesey... like "450" steez.

the mix itself i found to be very well mixed and tight as hell... but the track selection left something to be desired.

there is so much good electro going around these days... and all they play in the clubs is the same old generic electro house .

anyway... nothing personal against you x-cube...

your mix is tight as hell.

but i think our whole electro scene needs a little more spice.

Murdock,I understand your point of vue and opinion.

The website,I can understand you don't like it,it's fine. 450!? That's great,I'm 30 years old and I live in a house ,in 450! good eye buddy! hehe ...anyway,the website cannot be liked by anybody. Since 1 year it's like
that,I will change it later, cause I like changes! but thanks 4 your comment.

The mix,thanks.

The track selection ,I have a lot's of tracks and it's not easy to select them for a mix,I like it that way.
In a club or party, you'll hear newest tracks than that & oldest.

The electro scene, there's so much electro music style. Few dj's play lots of new tracks and other old tracks.
Felix da housecat and other big names still play some old electro tracks, because people like it. New tracks
it's nice, but lot's of people don't know them and don't react well as a older tracks. Sometimes big dj's have tracks who are not release yet,so regular dj's like me or anybody cannot have right away.

whole electro scene needs a little more spice? What's your perfect formula you can show to Miss kittin, felix da housecat,Tiga,Mini,Jordan Dare,G O'brien,Sean Kosa,Ellen Allien,The Hacker...!?

I don't take your message personal,it's good to have few people who don't think the same or have different taste of ourself.

Take care!

cool...

thanks for not taking anything personaly...

my comments were not intended to be disscouraging...

and i'm not trying to diss our citys local electro scene. we should be proud of what we have here. its pretty serious...

my whole statement regarding the electro scene needing more spice is hardly dirrected at cats like jordan, mini or tiga... who have done more than thier share to put montreal on the map of electro hot spots... nothing but respect there...

i got respect for what your doing too...

but i still think there is alot more to "electro" than our citys "electro house" scene currently has to offer...

its kind of pigeon holed it self into a place where almost every electro dj in the city is playing the same style of electro... i think its cool that this style get so much exposer, but i'd really like to hear more of the edgier stuff that got me into electro in the first place....

like a few years back when gary numan remixed a buncha his old stuff with bambataa and everyone was all like "whatever" cuz they were too preocupied with tigas new hair cut...

know what i'm sayin?

anyway... i'm not gunna whine... i'm gunna do something about it!!!

keep yer ears peeled...

Cool!
I know what you mean.

The tracks all dj's played,I can understand, but imagine hip hop clubs, they play all the same stuff.
I buy my tracks on beatport and they have over 200 electro/minimal tracks available, that's great, but not all of them will be bought by me. I buy what I love, not what other djs play. It happen we can hear the few same tracks with different djs...anyway.

Also, mixing is good to be knowned but it's good to produce tracks,I already started some, but it takes time
and I work 5daysweek so I prefere, having time to relax or do something else than play on my cpu. For now...

I have so much style of electro also,I can play vocal stuff like tiga, play more acid, more techy, more house, minimal,so I can start slowly and progress until it gets dark or techy. see...

The electro scene in montreal is small,we have piknic, parking, sat, mutek, sometime aria/stereo...but commercial house music or RnB music is taking a huge place. That would be great to bring electro more popular that RnB for sure. But If you play to hard/dark the regular people won't really like it,so you can play some electrohouse or electro with some vocal and that's it...

Music is like a movie, you listen it,you try to find your fun in it,that's it,starting analysing is killing
the magic of it. You like the tracks, the mix,the dj? cool, you don't ,there's tons of other dj's hehe
The tracks ,the dj playing, like I said, the regular dj's can get it like everybody, after when you get bigger, you
can receive some whitelabel tracks, unrelease tracks, unsigned tracks and be *a little bit different* of others..

that's sure,we can talk of the scene,the music,the dj,s ,the prods,the crowd for hours...days..
But the principal subject is my new mix. But thanks,I read and understand everything that people tell me and not take it personal. ;)
