Whoa.. AMAZING!

This was without a doubt the best event I've been to this year..

I've been to some gogod shows at Metropolis.. Daft Punk+Rabbit in the Moon, Kraftwerk.. This was yet another amazing show.

Ninja Tune have been holding it down for over 10 years with some of the best and most original beats/tunes around. Saturday Night was no exception.

Blockhead showcased his new album playing most of it live, with DJ Signify tearing it up on the cut. Too bad it was onnly a laptop and a CDJ but that was just the beginning.

They rolled our 4 TURNTABLES for Kid Koala, and he did some of the most amazing beat/riddim construction and scratching I've ever seen. He played tons of new tracks he'd never perfomraed before and we were treated to an amzing display of turnatblism. Massive respects to this guy, one of a kind..

Then Coldcut came on with their full array of hardware.. And a new MC that set the place on fiyah! (MC Juice)

WOW... After listening to their stuff for 10 years or so.. I had huge expectations - and they DELIVERED! They dropped classic tracks (Atomic Moog 3000), All time favorites like Timber, and a ton of new material from their recent album (This Island Earth, Everything is Under Control, Walk a Mile, True School feat. Roots Manuva) Those guys have been at it for a long time and they still know how to fuckin rock a party. big ups to the crazy visuals too.

Simply massiv it woz.

RESPECT.

what an insane show! personally i thought blockhead stole the show, throwing in all sorts of nuttiness and remixes (wutang, michael jackson smooth criminal, odb, prince, etc) nice scratching, seemed like they hadnt been working together long though

kid koala with that mosquito song... daaaaayum

coldcut was pretty funky too, nice long ass set, classics and new beats spanning all genres of music

woooot! summer of concerts! whats next? dj shadow? the roots?

It was great :)

I got all sentimental when kid koala played moon river at the end, that was so sweet!!

It was great that there was enough room to dance around :)
