So... my problems with this piece of crap persist, there's like a zillion programs that won't run on my PC (despite apparently being Windows 95 compatible) because I'm missing a USER32.dll file... I have NO IDEA what this means, and don't know how to fix it.. I'm currently googling it, but to no avail... any help/suggestions? Please? Anybody?

Tanks...

hmm... first, i suggest you install w98se instead of w95, which is an abomination. but if you can't, well... i don't know what to tell you for this problem... i'd say you can't have a normal system with w95, especially nowadays (no more support, too many incompatibilities, ...)

maybe you can try to install some fixing software, such as a good antivirus (grisoft avg, avast!, ...), spybot search&destroy, and norton utilities (in order to run windoctor and fix most of the major problems of your system).

just in case, you should write here your exact error message(s), and a list of your 2-3 programs that you need most and just don't run on your system.

lol Spybot Search and Destroy (both 1.3 and 1.4) are just some of the programs that can't run... and the error is "The SPYBOTSD.EXE file is linked to missing export USER32.DLL:EndMenu."

SO your running win95??? look for user32.dll for windows 95 online, try googling for DLL... once you download that file copy it to C:\windows\system and/or c:\windows\system32 (can't remember witch one for 95...)... Try that...
