got there too early, like 3-4 in the afternoon

saw many peeps i was happy to see, including Stabba and Mayday back from the tour

music was all like ....old school hiphop^and cheezy house/funk ....
not that good in my opinion ...

baby was dancing thought ...

i think i didnt get there for the best part cuz everything seemed sooooooo amateur .....graphs/breakdance/etc...it wasnt off the hook at all to me ...i guess it was bad timing ..

I dunno, maybe it was the weather, or the fact that I was in a very blah mood, but I just wasnt into it, even though I was there from about 2 till the end, I left for a while, but I wont say where cause its not related to this topic. I enjoyed it, but I find its not very apealing to audiences.. like what we walk HERE, look at amateur skateboaders, walk HERE, HERE AND HERE, check out some graffs, walk HERE, try to watch some breakdancing but its imposible to get a glimpse with all the trendy fashion statement people in the way.
The only thing I enjoyed was the music towards the end, and leaving.

as for the shows
some of the acts i was familiar with didn't really translate well live

when i watch a hiphop act i like to give them my full attention and that includes hearing the lyrics
i coudn't hear any of the lyrics
would the sound quality be considered really poor at foufs? i dont know these things

so i judged by presence

meta4 was really good, really solid flow, really doesn't need that hypeman and probably the most tangible of the evening
it's good to finally see Rugged Intellect live; again the sound really detracted from his performance... he seems to favor complex beats with alot of layers. they sound awesome in recording but it's too busy live

although their brand of hiphop doesn't do anything for me
Offsides have excellent production value
good presence
sort of like M.O.P...

4th pyramid
pretty original
is he on battleaxe? cause mr.brady came to my mind
yknow it almost sounds like redundant rapping at first... the you really like it... then it's boring as hell... sometimes you like it again later

two acts i coudn't take seriously
those idiots "VICE" or something
it's garbage and those guys in the basketball jerseys
no presence at all

montreals jungle dnb scene can benefit from a few djs who are good at scratching or beat jungling. just a thought yknow?

it was another good year for underpressure imo
sofar it seems that it's probably the single event that gets people to come out very single year
for how long i dont know
had a lovely afternoon and a ball running into Cloak the whole time

Lil'jon with Pitbull and Ying Yang Twins @ Circus last week-end ...
it was 75$ tickets so i passed ...too bad ..
first part was at beach club featuring Ciara but i heard there was no one there really ...
i'm sad i've missed Roc Raida, he's killer
Nas was also in T-O hosting a few jams ...lucky bastards

anyways i'm too broke for that lifestyle

you guys just don;t understand hip-hop.
or under pressure.

It;s about hanging and chilliing in the street, in the alleyway, drinkin 40's or king cans outta paper [ bags....ru ] into EVERYONE, breakers on cardboard (well....other surfaces but you get the point)
A jam with a bunch of quality local dj's, ok and KOOL HERC.
does anyone even have a clue? Hi, 1979, umm, hip-hop started?
go here please if you don;t know- [ en.wikipedia.org ]

it's too bad so many of you weren't impressed or whatever, i understand, old school breaks, hip-hop , and house isn;t for everone...

but i had a wikkid time, Hardsteppers killed it, Adam is sick!, he was dropping some grime....
Also, SOmsay was awesome, Maysr,
i really liked to dj's spinning old school, and I was kinda surprised Kool herc played so much roots reggae, but it was good too.

i love under pressure!

i love underpressure too, reminds me of my younger days, when i was like 15, 16 n shit tagging up everything i can see.

saturday's break battles were fucking amazing, and sunday, i just got really drunk n shit, always good times, good atmosphere....yuh know

oh ya and KOOL HERC was there!!!! like what the fuck?

and at the show in foufs, i wasnt really feelin sum of the earlier acts, but D-SHADE killed it, and then i had to leave

i drank 40s.
listened to some rad beats.

saw soyfunk&lucy.
(and harrassed them all day)
saw kers. one-a my first loves before he went all mad 'cause of paint fumes.

helped out my friends jody and sändör selling pins.
yelled a lot.

good looking people were present.
nice art by the wierdos in the alley.
i liked it,
even though i got aggressive for a flat tire (bike)

well it's over now.
