Takeover - Sherbrooke - Birthday Edition Friday August 5 2005 It's Tamerax's birthday and we're inviting anyone and everyone from Sherbrooke and those who wanna make the drive down from Montreal (only an hour and a bit away) to a special edition of Takeover. We got 3 of the best house, trance and hardstyle djs coming down from Ottawa to help us out. This is also a pre-HAF4 party to get everyone ready for the big show the next night. This event will go from 9 till 3ish at the Maysen Pub Lennoxville. We have arranged a pretty awesome drink special for all you booze hounds: Triples for $5 This applys to Rum, Rye, Vodka and Gin. Now...onto the djs: TAMERAX - Hard Trance, Hardstyle, Freeform The birthday boy is no stranger to Montreal. Known for his intence sets and crazy stage presence, you know this set is gonna be filled with hard ass beats and drunken sillyness. DARKSHADOW - Hard Trance Darkshadow has been making waves in the Ottawa rave scene for his unique hard trance sets. They range from the most uplifting feel good songs to the darkest of hardstyle monsters. Returning for his 4th apperence in the area, come find out why people ask for him over and over. TYPE-ZERO - Hard Trance, Acid Trance A founding member of the Ottawa Zero Trance Collective, this boy has written his own material for the past several years and has recently been signed to the Fiberline Audio label and [ Beatmaka.com ] He will be playing a special full out set for us at Takeover so get ready to move. EMM - House, Energy Trance EMM has to be Ottawa's fastest rising star. His company, Revival Productions, has been at the lead of the Ottawa rave scene with consistant parties. His DJ sets are a blend of techno, epic trance, hard trance and hardstyle which he fondly calls Energy Trance. Emm is also an accomplished house DJ so we are lucky to have him come play both styles for us. Doors open at 9.
