| Coolness: 69075 | supposedly i do research and development at a valve company...
but in reality i do hardly nothing... i test valves by putting pressure on them and seeing if they leak and stuff, or i measure what teh maximum tensile stress of a valve's neck is, stuff like that... yesterday i had to create a system that would cool steam at 1200psig and 510°C to 315°C in 12 seconds so that we could perform a temperature test... see how the knife of the valves reacts to sudden temperature changes.. its interesting stuff... kinda... 'cept theres always people crowding over me so i never REALLY do any of it... but i DID completely create that heat exchanger to cool the steam!! yaya!! i actually USED something they taught me in school!! huraah!! |
