 Coolness: 93160 | ...So, almost a week ago I flew into Athens, and I've been staying wit my grans ever since. The language barrier in general kinda sucks, I can't read half of the signs and no one here seems to speak, or maybe doesn't want to speak, english...
The sun here seems closer than most other places I've been to; I've been to the beach twice and got burned twice(I know, I didn't think it was possible to burn over a burn). The nite life that I've seen so far is hillarious, people get insanely drunk and start babbling to me in greek. American tourrists are retarded and Kiwi's drink even more than we do! So far, I'm totally loving it here, this weekend Im off to teh Islands for my first small beach blue water experiences of this summer in Greece. Hope all is well back home, will give more updates as it comes... Ps-here are some quick interesting facts about Athens... 1-The only guys that wear sandels are either tourrists or nasty old men. 2-People park their cars and skooters everywhere, sidewalks, grass, front steps of houses... 3-Sunblock does nothing, you still get burned. 4-Beer is cheeper than water. 5-they have the cleanest metros in the entire world and super cheap too, 1.20 will get u basically anywhere in the city and back. Ps-More interesting factoids about athens: 1-old ladies wear shirts that have fake diamonds embroydered with the word erotic!!! 2-They play translated versions of britney spears in greek on the radio!!hahahahahaah 3-the more beer you drink while walking in the sun, the more beer it makes you want to drink later... 4-old people listen to and like techno (im not joking, I was fuckin blown away!!!) 5-90% of the sidewalks are made out of actual marble... man that musta been damn expensive!!! | Coolness: 93160 | cARL'S set was out of fuckin' out of control, simply disgusting!!!!! I've never heard him play like that(6th time seeing him), he had an obvious tokyo influence from his last tour, actually got on the mic a couple of times and hyped the audience with this insane chipmunk voice, and everyone was like hands in the mothafuckin'air!!!! Sick-sick-sick, just nuts, I loved everysecond!!! other than that, the club itself was a joke, the deco was soooo cheesy, the people were insanely high(saw 3 people puke, one almost on me) and many peeps were "lining it up" in teh bathrooms... Greece fuckin' rawks, k, time fo mo beeah, foos!!!!!
