get ur windows xp cd...put it in the comp
not sure wich button so when ur comp goes on hold all ur F BUTTONS(F1,F2,F3 wtc...)
then make it so ur cd boots first..restart and use the cd to fix ur xp problems !

if you see absolutely nothing, then it probably is a hardware problem (possibly video card ? )

yeah that would be the most likely scenario, that happened to me a few months ago..

It can be solved by buying a new HD and reinstalling everything (not fun)

It could also just be a bad setting in the cmos, you'd have to check to see if the drive is actually being detected at startup
