 Coolness: 45730 | Just wanted to say a friendly hello to all the dear people here, and to (in case you've been pre-occupied for the last 4 years), give you a little news update:
Since Sept.11, 2001... No terrorist attacks in the U.S. The Taliban Govt. of Afghanistan was overthrown and Al Queda bases were destroyed. Afghanistan has also held free elections and women have once again become an integral part of their society. 2/3 of Al Queda killed or captured. Saddam Hussein was overthrown and is waiting to be put on trial in an Iraqi court, by the Iraqi people. Iraqi citizens withstood threats of (and actual) violence to stand in line for hours, for the chance to vote. Libya voluntarily gave up its programs to build weapons of mass destruction. Syria is about to complete its removal of troops and agents from Lebanon. Syria has also stopped helping terrorists, and are now capturing them and turning them over to U.S. forces. The Palestinian people voted in a free election, and Israel is beginning the first stages of its withdrawl from the Gaza Strip. President Mubarak of Egypt has said that his country will now allow cadidates to oppose him in an election. Saudi Arabia has announced plans for local elections and the easing of some restrictions regarding women. The student uprising in Iran has now spread to include many groups and sects throughout the country. They are demanding an end to their tyrannical govt.. Le Monde, Der Speigal and The Economist have all run articles with the headline: "Could Bush Have Been Correct?" But fuck this shit....doesn't George Bush talk reeeeeeeaaaaal funny?
