Baudelaire knew personnaly the painter Eugène Delacroix who brought from his travel trought China Opium and Haschish. Baudelaire was first a traductor, writting works from english to french like Edgar Allan Poe's work and from french to english-Victor Hugo's works and (etc). He also had translated a Dr.'s (bla bla bla)work about opium and had slightly changed the style into a poetic way and had become > (my favorite). Baudelaire died into emotional spleen (his own term) at 46 yrs. By the way, his name was charles Baudelaire. ;)  |

I can't find it. I always keep that book in my bag. But it's not in the Table des Matières. I like La Géante. You have to know alot of mythic personas to understand his shit. Always takes me at least 10 minutes to understand a paragraph completetly. |
