So like 10 years I started a little company and began tossing these shows and stuff. We had a dope little dj crew and some big ideas. Now it's 10 years later... been a LONG time since I did a show (withdrawl anybody?)... and I still got a cool little dj posse. We've made a lot of memories, shared dreams, I had a kid, got married, got divorced, fell in love (LOVE YOU BABY!), found and lost hope, did over 100-200 shows and club nights... DAMN.... Apr 1st 1995 was CIRCUS MAXIMUS our 1st show in upstate NY. Apr 2nd 2005 is COK TURNS 10: CIRCUS MAXIMUS 2 @ MUNI. Some would say, why bother? Who cares? I dunno, I'm not here to gloat, get my ass kissed, or anything really... I just wanted to do something... even if it's for the last time... bring it together for you guys. Because I never stopped believing... there's this feeling. There's a feeling you get when you hear that set that takes you to a different place. There's a feeling I have when I see my gf dance and get lost in music. There's a feeling I have when I absolutely destroy a room with my best set to date and I know I gave everything because the Universe was working through me that night. There's a time when we all get this feeling... no matter how much we loose site of what this all meant so long ago... no matter how jaded you might think you are... I never stopped believing... I think that's why we lasted this far. One Nation I thought was the end. But an amazing woman's love has helped heal me in more ways than I know how to describe this past year. I owe you everything Jenni.... Jenni and I are 2 people who've seen the darkest of darks and lightest of lights inside this culture. We're doing this show together united. She's become the other half of COK really just about. This show is dedicated to who we are as people... where we've been and where we're going. My shows have created countless memories. Thousands of people have told me I changed their lives. People got married, had kids, got divorced, fell in love... through things that have happened at my shows. 10 FUCKING YEARS PEOPLE! INSANE... I can't even believe it. Anyway... yea so COK turns 10. If you ever felt like you wanted to be a part of history... If you are nu skool and never went to a COK show... If your old skool and had even 1 good COK party memory... please come out. I miss you guys. You were my family for 10 years and now I still love playing for you but I miss opening the doors to my shows and letting you guys come in and be who you are. Lineup and details will be up by Sunday night. This is the mission: reunite the tribes for 1 night of history making music, vibes, and friends. I ain't fuckin jaded, I'm sarcastic...
