Okay, lemme just state my mind.

What the f*** is up with that dress code thingie. I know it ain`t mandatory, but still it should NOT EVEN BE MENTIONNED. I remember when people were invited to parties on a as is basis.
back when diversity was seen as a important for the vibe. And personally, I don`t think that the candy crowd can support a promoter. Neither does any other crowd. See The idea behind different dj`s at parties is to accomodate the different people so enough tickets are sold for the event to be a success. Soooo.... You want a house partie, invite your friends. You want a Rave, invite everyone, unless you want to miserably fail.

I think that some (not all) promoters take themselves for granted. You can`t just change the rules of the game and tell people (politely) to hang with people that share the same clothing style. I mean it`s like saying be different like *I* am... I think this sucks and that my opinion.

These are my two cents, feel free to reply.

I grant you that, I was reacting to the info page about Maximum hardcore. That bit where it sez: ``SUGGESTED DRESSCODE:Candy!``(with the caps).

Don`t get me wrong, I mean I`ll be there and all. Just Like I was at both Hard as Fucks. I`m just thinking that once in a while, it`s mighty phine, but we should NOT make it a habbit.

People can go as they want... Me for one will be dressed as candy and I normally am not these days. It's a suggestion, it does not have to be in caps... I think people want to complain too much ;)

its a damn theme party dude.
Its a suggested dress code, just like hard as fuck 2 had the camo suggestion. Chill out, its just for fun. No-one is excluded.
Moreover, they took the time to actually write SUGGESTED dress code, not flat out DRESS CODE.

I know if I had a party i'd be more of a nazi and BAN the candy style, so be grateful that theyre not jackasses like me.

moloch raises a good point tho. it should be about general acceptance so the suggestion would make u think that u kinda hafta dress up. But i wouldn't tho. Just go and have fun.

Boo hoo hoo, boo hoo hoo, boo hoo hoo

cry me a fucking river and built me a bloody bridge. Over sensitive about a suggested theme dress code. This had no social impact to our society as a whole. You're making something outta nothing.

Your reply is enlightening. Really... a lot more came up. Social commentaries.. gotta love `em... Just saying that too much of something good makes it crappy. Is the simple version easier for you to grasp.;)

It was just a fun little thing to write. You dont have to dress candy if you dont want to. whats the big deal. Your getting all boiled up for nothing. I never been to a party where there was a dress code.. thats for clubs and stuff. Wear what the fuck you want, and if people dont like it thats their problem.
