i can't believe none of you political pundits posted this before. Yes all 6 of you.

Remember when Jon Steward went on Crossfire and diss the republican host? The message got to the president of CNN, Mr Klein. Crossfire got cancel and CNN won't be renewing Tucker contract.

NY TIMES

Mr. Klein specifically cited the criticism that the comedian Jon Stewart leveled at "Crossfire" when he was a guest on the program during the presidential campaign. Mr. Stewart said that ranting partisan political shows on cable were "hurting America."

Mr. Klein said last night, "I agree wholeheartedly with Jon Stewart's overall premise." He said he believed that especially after the terror attacks on 9/11, viewers are interested in information, not opinion.

This show didnt have anything to do with freedom of speech. Crossfire was a show based on un-objective spin-doctorism. And anyways, to say that Jon Stewart is an opponent/obstacle of free speech is quite inaccurate.

I knew that crossfire had been cancelled (Stewart bragged about it on the Daily), but I didnt know that the decision was directly correlated with Jon Stewart's comments...

Read «America The Book», its hilarious.

crossfire was great, the only thing missing on that show was immigrants being mistreated in the background...it was a perfect stage for ignorant closed minded fools to expose their inferior thought processes on TV as well as their scewed versions of logic...oh well, back to CCN News for laughs I guess....

Ufot-not barfing at the thought of barfing?
