i ran it then turned it off.
if you're using firefox you don't need it to be running actively..

just use it to clean the shit out every week or so..

I find that Adaware, Sweeper and Spybot complement eachother nicely.

I'll wait till there are more reviews out on that microsoft thingie...

The thing is, its hard to trust microsoft's antispyware since its microsoft that seems to be spying the most on my computer.. those desktop icon's i was talking about earlyer in this thread, link to a microsoftish page.. its not microsoft directly, but you see there name on the page.. its just hard to trust stuff from them....

just out of curiosity tho, what does it do this antispyware thing from microsoft??? i mean, it searchs your computer like spoybot does? thanks

Vince bro looks like you already got adaware and spybot, just update those to most recent versions with all the upgrades and run both one after another (I recommend SpyBot first). It should clean 99% of your shit...

Microsoft releasing this antispyware app is merely them trying to show they're serious about security..

but instead of actually fixing the massive holes they're simply giving a quick fix to their problem.

if microsoft sold toasters that caught fire very easily, i bet they'd think they're doing something good by bundling a fire extinguisher with it.
