-I hate the fact that people care more about receiving gifts than going to midnight mass or celebrating what's supposed to be the day that christ was born. -I hate the irony in the fact that Jesus was born a jew and yet his date of birth is recognized as the most important christian holiday. -I hate hearing the carols everywhere I go. -I hate people who put up their decorations right after halloween's over. -I hate people who only take down their decorations in March. -I really hate the fact that our beautiful Canadian forest has to suffer because people refuse to buy artificial reusable trees. -I hate the fact that I'm forced to take work off for two weeks without pay. -I hate not knowing what happened to the other eleven days of x-mas. -I hate the fact that children are deceived into believing that Santa Claus is responsable for their gifts. -I hate not knowing how candycanes are at all affiliated with x-mas. and most of all... -I hate egg nog more than words can describe. |
