I mean.. where are the funky, jazzy beats? Gone? also.. I talked to that 18-19 years old ''''gangsta'''', he was mixing in a bar, asked him to put some TCQ... He said he never heard about that. What is going on??! |

bands like UGLY DUCKLINGS drop some ill funkiness so is FIVE DEEZ ...and a bunch more .. just aint everywhere like nu-school beats are .. personnaly i like a bit of both beats these days are pretty sick ; horray for technology for example the new Neptunes beat on a Snoop Dogg choon ...killa dancefloor basher |

Pete Rock for example still drops funky beats with Edo G., alone , on these chicks like the beastie girls named NORTHERN STATE ... also there's the new PRINCE PO , a new DE LA SOUL, ALI SHAHEED MUHAMMAD from Tribe Called Quest ...bunch o'stuff i'm telling you we'll keep in touch guy |

Not about mp3s, CDs or records you can listen to at home. My point is that the majority of hiphop listeners appreciate .. hmm.. popular 'sexy' beats, so the ladies can shake it! I think it's not hiphop anymore. (but hey! that's my opinion) |

newschool beats, would probably be all the new jiggy keyboard tracks being produced by people like Trackmasters, Neptunes, Eminem ect. ect. ect. jazzy beats are old...(VERY GOOD, but old) not to say they aren't still being produced, it's just not the sound people want to hear these days to listen to them tracks, you gotta go to bistro chez toi |
