 Coolness: 35840 | so, no really, i will post a map or a link to a map soon. basicly the plan has evolved a bit, kinda heading towards a drunken free for all. i.e if you want to come and do stuff that is a'okay with us.
various djs that i wont list incase some dont show up or dont want to be linking in letters to such a dubious event. basicly hardcore and jungle on shorts rotating sets so as to keep things interesting. though things may get interesting enough already. the movie shot is tomorrow, with the musical proformence attached to that happening at something like 4 pm. not quite techno so im not sure people here will care, but it will be fun probably and all are welcome to come watch. also, tomorrow night is not only a full moon, but also the longest duration lunar eclipse in a century or something. after the movie we will probably stand around and get drunk and look at the sky, if anyone is interested in astronomy as an excuse for subsatnce abuse. bellow are some writen directions to the place in english and french, and yeah, hopefully a map will follow soon. ben salut, ça c'est pour tout le monde à savoir, il y aura *la* grande fête de l'halloween samedi le 30 octobre à la place des nations sur île-ste-hélène, vers 21h du soir, avant les autres partys qu'il faut. comme musique ça va être du hard shit, faut se faire un peu peur l'halloween, dans le fond c'est la meilleure fête officiale de l'année! si vous voulez faire quelquechose pour aider, amenez de la musique [les instruments et/ou les disques], amenez trop d'alcool, amenez vos amis, oubliez le temps perdu et les malentendus et soyez dehors quelquepar de nouveau et de spécial. il fera peut-être frette la nuit donc amenez aussi des gants et des chapeaux, et soyez prêtes à bouger! du métro jean-drapeau, suivez les fontaines vers le sculpture moderniste où se trouve les picniks éléctroniques, puis passez à gauche et continue jusqu'à la place des nations. du pont jacques-cartier en vélo, sort à gauche sur l'île, va à droit immidiatement et suit le bord de l'île jusqu'au sculpture moderniste, passe-le vers la place des nations. on y va même si il pleut, on a une grande section avec un toit au dessus. sam 30 oct la place des nations, île-ste-hélène 21h jusqu'à la fin de la nuit, quoi que ça soit en ce cas. amene trop d'alcool _______________________ hi, this is for everyone, there will be *the* big halloween party saturday october 30 at the plaza of nations on île-ste-hélène, starting around 9pm before the other parties you 'have to go to'. the music should be hard shit, we should try to scare ourselves at least a bit on halloween, after all it's the best official holiday! if you want to help then bring music [instruments and/or records], bring too much alcohol, bring friends, forget lost time and misunderstandings and be outside somewhere special and new. it might be cold so also bring hats and mitts, and be ready to move! from metro jean-drapeau follow the fountains to the modernist sculpture where they have the picnik electronique, pass it to the left and follow the path to the plaza of nations. from the jacques-cartier bridge on bike turn left of the bridge onto the island, turn right right away and follow the coast of the island to the modernist sculpture, pass it and continue to the plaza of nations. we go rain or shine, there is a large covered section. saturday october 30 the plaza of nations, île-ste-hélène 9pm til the end of the night, whatever that may be in this case. bring too much booze |

basicly, well, yeah. maybe it brought about some life descions, like 'idont need to pay rent or buy food' or 'yeah for sure, i can totally just decide to be a full time writer and everything will be fine'. anyways. after a bit of trouble with safe navigation i went and watched the moon at the location. it sure was red. and far away. it didnt fall out of the sky or anything so i figure that means the party is still on and maybe i should post some nonsense to keep the oh so informative thread about its whereabout near the top of the page. koolaid man jumps through the wall- oh-yeah! |
