| doom 3 is ass compaired to HL-2..
i was playing the HL-2 beta with with all options turned on and at highest rez and was getting 60+ fps..
with doom 3 i was at lowest rez with everything set to medium.. just so i could get 60fps..

| True, the HL2 3D-engine is better than the Doom3 engine.
I never truly played HL though. I'd like to learn, but I'm more into "consoles" (am I writing it right?) like N64 than computer FPS.
But maybe one day. My bf could teach me, he's been playing for years :) |
