Yup, i'd say it's quality.. That and Sopranos are one of the only reasons my parents have cable. i happened to watch the first season of Deadwood, cause it played during the last seasons of those two shows. I'd say it was well done, nice n gritty. I prefer HBO's programming over any of those other "1 hour cheesy dramas".. gawwwd knows there are so many-

i downloaded it yesterday but trashed it cause i heard it quits after 20 minutes and i didn't want the trouble of re-installing 2.5 if something were to mess up.
The main thing i'm looking forward to is the new (much needed) mastering effects. there is no vst support, aside from using rewire, which isn't anything new. they do have this new module that saves presets for a series of devices.. if you have a specific synth with effects on it, it'll save it so you can load it instantly without having to copy/paste from past songs. Apparantly the new version is more versatile for live use.
sounds alright but i'm not going to bother dicking around with the beta version. i'll just wait till it comes out and steal it like usual.

i wouldn't go as far as saying it's over.. but it's definatly dormant. It just needs some fresh ideas, better locations, less repetitive music, affordable prices and more thought into the theme and deco.
