Cheers mate

This party was pretty legendary too, took place in an airplane hanger out in the middle of nowhere, people got there in shuttle buses. The location was actually really smart, it avoided any sound issues. In the morning they opened the front doors up and people were dancing on the runway lol...Good times
I'm feeling sunshine right now..

Holy crap, The Orb, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Orbital and Moby are on the most ghetto-looking flyers. What is this?! haha

GROOVE SOCIETY, THAT WAS THE OLD NAME FOR THAT PLACE AHHHH ... Went to my first hardcore party there.
Most of those flyers are from before my days, but this still manages to bring back memories, awww!
I'm feeling giddy right now..

I played an afterhours show in Winnipeg with Robbie Hardkiss in early '97... very chill dude... and I can still hear the mix of Elton John's Rocket Man that Scott Hardkiss dropped on the mainstage at Furthur ('96)... I asked Robbie about the Elton John mix and he said they wanted to release it, but only cut a few tests before finding out that they weren't going to get clearance for it.

Still have a bunch of their early records... lost touch with their direction at some point... but there is some gold in the records they released.

As for Autechre... played with them, Spacetime Continuum and Mark Broom (Winnipeg '96) when they were touring for the Tri Repetae album. One of the most brutally hard shows I've ever heard. Awesome stuff... everything was so heavy and distorted... like 2nd Bad Vilbel meets Merzbow. Incredible, influential and a night that really made me rethink what Warp Records was all about.

Love their GESCOM stuff immensely, too.
I'm feeling new records right now..

You'll lucky man, alot of the Hardkiss records are really hard to find now.

This one was really big back in the day. Its probably the most well known Hardkiss track. Really uplifting tune.

One of my favorites, I'm actually playing this one a lot right now, great track

This one is amazing, chill out room classic. Will always put you in a good mood :)
