i took a small beating, and a choking, in '01, with absolutely no consequences dealt to the cops. anti-brutality protest, how ironic. it's always a clusterfuck, its an excuse for the shitstains to cause trouble, and the cops to use those trouble-makers to make all the punks look bad and then beat us. they push the buttons to make sure it gets out of hand. but i do agree that the opportunists "punks" who fuck up are totally counter-productive. then you get some asshole like Blis, who starts this thread with absolutely no info on the real cause, and says stupid things like: 'the cops & punks should kill eachother'. good job playing right into the hands of the media. just what the city needs, more disinformation and hate toward people asking for nothing more than to be treated fairly and not be killed or beaten by those who are supposed to protect them. and now i'm probably going to be banned from this thread because i have a different opinion than Bliss The Oppressor. ps. next time you see a punk bliss, you best cross the street, 'cause it just might be me. |

such nonsense if you ask me. you can't fight violence with violence, well i mean you can in theory but you won't reach any sort of a resonable outcome. why not stage a real protest, something organized with a goal of being peaceful and demonstrating that these protest do NOT pormote violent acts? i whole heatedly support the anti-police brutality movement. i just wish that the police didn't always come out of things looking like the wiser individuals. and to the punk girl walking by the CTV cameras, putting down the can of molson dry would make you look far more credible...just saying. |
